      How people attempt to explain the "salvation vs. works" dilemma (How religious fundamentalists can "according to the Christian faith" rationally explain why unsaved/good people should go to Hell AND How Christian Humanists can "according to the Christian faith" rationally explain why unsaved/good people should not go to Hell). Related to this, I am interested in how the religious fundamentalist deals (perhaps by using defense mechanisms, etc.) with the cognitive dissonance which seems such an inherent part of this dilemma (The cognitive dissonance which may well be an inherent part of trying to rationally justify why one who has lived a life of moral excellence, yet who is unsaved, "should be expected to" spend an eternity in Hell).
