Email AddressResearch Interests At moment I'm dealing with the
relationship between rites (broad
sense) and emotions. Actualy, it's
a kind of bridge between
Anthropology and Psychology. The
start point is that all cultures take
the emotions in mind using some
kind of ritual; there is no meaning
for emotions - in the culture - in
there is no a kind of ceremony.
Having this in mind, I think that the
violence between groups - or a
peaceful relationship - are related
to the fact that in these groups
there is, or not, a kind or ritual
dealing with the emotions thal arise
from the contact with the strange.
For the psychologist it's
quite acceptable that the life of the
emotions use allways some kind of
bridge or mediation in order to
present or elaborate itself. It's not
difficult to understand that
emotions not elaborate bring some
kind of problems or pathology
(socialy or personaly).
